I can't think of a proper word to describe it, so... it's fantasmically-flabbergastingly-superbuler!
Well done, nice to see it worked out in the end. What was the problem with the other guys?

I believe this has a great shot at puzzle of the year.
Edit: What are those metal balls in the corners for?

Wow! I love all these puzzle combo's coming out recently! Sometime this week I'll be posting my own version of one of those combo's, but unfortunately it's a dud.
I can't wait to see a video!

thanks for all great response DragonCuber wrote: What was the problem with the other guys? probably to long screws on the 3x3, they locks the rest of the puzzle if they stick up. Is is more squishy than the super-x? I know that puzzle looks very squishy in the video. I think you should redo the design and take drews approach if the turning is bad. That is: put some magnets under the 2x2 and under the lattice pieces just strong enough to keep them alligned.

This is one of your best, Olz. I would never had expected this to come around, with so few Lattice Cubes/ Master Dinos in existence to begin with.

oh man, I don't want to be a jerk, but that is TRULY horrible turning... it looks actually worse than the 7x7x5. I did get a quick out of the ending though when you tried to put it on the stand. Really though, I think, some magnets, the way drew used them in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuiYN4FiWRsmay just solve the problem. Plus, maybe some tightening of the screws. I think this puzzle has alot of potential with a little tuning.

I allso think I have found out why it turns like crap, I missed a piece when designing it, a piece on the inside that will keep the pieces in place. I will make that piece and see if it works or not. otherwise so will you see a v2 in the future

It does seem that the turning is horrible. but that because the mechanism for the super X alone is prone to many directions of motion. the Lattice x is by nature even more unstable. however your execution in design is very well done!
The lattice X I designed back in July uses lots of magnets to help stabilize everything, unfortunately I felt that even then the puzzle would be so unstable I chose not to produce it.
I think you could also do a good job of closing up the gaps between the parts before filleting.
