http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0reTdSwAc3o C4U will be mass producing these soon but I think my time of 3.59.48 is the current UWR. That won't last long at all but for now I can feel proud of myself!

Nice puzzle! It is too bad about the whole "over-functional" aspect of it, though. Is this completely due to the nature of the mechanism, or do you think that Cubeforyou could fix this?

:)

That is not over functionality, every 3x3x5 does that and always will, as far as I know there's no way to fix that and not really a reason to. :?

So ya, pretty cool build. I think I'll wait till C4U makes theirs though, cuz I don't want to mutilate a 3x3x4.

It can be fixed. I glued a 1x1x1 ontop of my center piece. If the center piece were to be rounded off completly making in a circle and then glued to the core before the 1x1x1 was glued ontop of it, that would fix the problem. When it is circular the pieces can still move around it. As for whether or not C4U does this, I would bet not. Hope that helps, Tanner.
