Hi everyone,
Here is my latest puzzle mod, the Dodecagonal Dipyramid. I first saw the idea here:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14645&start=0

I talked to JFDude616 a little over a week ago to see if he would mind if built it. I am not sure if the idea has come up before, but this is the first time that I have seen it mention, so I will give credit to JFDude616 for the idea. Thank-you.

The puzzle was made from a Type A (III) 3x3x3 DIY, which was nice since all of the side are capped off so it made it easy to fill with Apoxie Sculpt and sand down. This DIY also has the clicks on it like a V6, but they were removed to make the rotation nice and smooth. All ofthe stickers are Oracal Vinyl and were machine cut.

It is kind of hard to tell but there are 24 sides to this puzzle. Here are some pictures of the puzzle in progress. I Hope you enjoy.

That looks absolutely freaking insane! I shudder at the thought of solving it, much less stickering it. The unstickered photos are pretty misleading. I thought it was a hexagonal dipyramid at first, thinking that you meant to call it a "dodecahedral" dipyramid instead, and then you showed the final stickered version and blew those thoughts out of the water. Are all sides a different colour? How long did it take to make/sticker?

Wow! I have never ever thought of that! You must have been cracking your brains real hard to produce all your mods recently

You are so close to just making a bicone.

Meh. Just another 3x3x3 mod. No really, are you kidding, that's a friggin' DODECAGONAL DIPYRAMID! It looks scary, and as un-3x3x3 as possible. From all I can tell, that looks like a completely new puzzle. What would happen if you extended it on the faces you didn't cut, and then extended it again? Will it be an offset Axis cube? Keep up good work, Apollo!

This is another in a massive line of puzzles that make me think you should have named yourself Daedalus rather than Apollo.

Keep up the great work.

Edited for poor capitalization.

Yes there are 24 different colors. To make the stickers and to cut took about 1.5-2 hours. There are only 4 unique sides to the puzzle, and one of the sides is a mirror image, so it was pretty easy to make the template and the sticker cutter did the rest of the work.

I really lucked out on this one, there was only 3-4 small stickers that I had trouble with, the rest went nice and smooth.

That is indeed a good idea. It would be tricky in some parts since the surface area on the pieces would be quite small, but doable,
Thanks again everyone
