Now the design needs to be expanded to a 2x2x13.

Simply amazing!
Though i gotta ask, how do the internal feet of the puzzle not snap or break in any way? those seem extremely thin to me!

I think the entire puzzle was printed, and since they're tubular they're fairly strong(why steel roller coasters use tubes, for one). So yes i would imagine they're not super strong but they're definitely more than strong enough.

Plus the tubes are concentric and reinforce each other, so it's like trying to snap or bend a solid roll of wallpaper.

The first time I saw the design discussed in another thread, and looked at the pictures on Shapeways, I thought to myself, "I feel sorry for whomever actually tries to make this, it'll snap like a twig." Seeing the first turns made me think of Tony's 9x9x9 hoax, and I wasn't sure if I was being pranked. When he prepared to turn the long way, I mentally cringed. But then, That really is amazing. I wonder if it would still be stable if cast? Perhaps a stronger resin is in order for a job like that? I'm still floored. P.S. Who's gonna write the tutorial on how to solve it?

I would never doubt Oskar. If he sets a puzzle for sale, it means that he has tried it already. The variety of puzzles he created (with or without collaboration) is so vast, and his experience throughout the years is so big, that there is absolutely no room for doubts. The 1x2x13 is simply another victorious example. And I loved his definition as "telescopic" LOL. Pantazis
