Legend said, the Puzzle Ninja used a spherical device (whose internal pieces
were based on a Tetrahedron) to control his emotions.
This way, he would never allow his emotions to get the best of him...

If you still do not know who the Trihx, the Puzzle Ninja is, I suggest you to go to:
http://www.puzzleninja.com

At this website there are YouTube videos of the puzzle, whose links are here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ETqPLde0Gs (jiggle free video)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2UCl-CS6pE

If you remember the Magic Smile, it had eight states and each state was a
different expression. Now this Pi-Sphere, has 54(!) states, and again,
each state *is* a different expression (and some of them are quite amusing).

This puzzle is not in production yet, but it seems to be too good to not be,
and it is on its way for the competition (the one in the video is a prototype)

;)

Ps. You should add the extra h for the links!

Well, when we mass produce it, we will sell it to as many distributors we know!
(a good bet would be end of the year).

And for this one, ThnkGeek, does not even need to make up a story.
They just need to add the existing one from the Puzzle Ninja page LOL

:)

PS. And we can now add hyper links! YES!!!

Yes, of course, the stickers we will use, will be similar to those in the video.
But expect more themes as usual.

You are absolute right. Out of all the Pi-Spheres, this one fits the Puzzle Ninja the most!

Hi all,

I have made a better (jiggle free!) video, by using half moves.
The balance of one piece cannot be dependent only on the other two pieces
because they are too few. I am showing an alternative way for rotating,
using half moves. Now you may think it is random... but is it really?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ETqPLde0Gs
(in the video, I go through at least 15 emotions/expressions of the possible 54)

;)

Pantazis

PS. Of course, that does not mean that jiggling cannot be used!
PS2. At the end of the video, the Puzzle Ninja Puzzle (PNP), rolls away
and escapes from me! (If you see it anywhere, please let me know!)

I remember when you told me about this! Back then, I had know idea how it would work. Now, it seems so obvious...

I laughed when you held up the sheet with all the different emotions. How many are there?

Well, in the photo, he is neither happy nor unhappy. He is simply determined!!!

There are 54 positions, and each position is a different expression/emotion.
(something like a Magic Smile on steroids LOL - the Magic Smile has only eight).

:)
