Awesome! They come up with such clever designs. I was trying to figure out what made it different during the short intro sequence, but then he turned it... that looks fun to play with.

I saw that on Bram's Twitter. Its pretty interesting, however easy it is.

It actually reminded me of the Circle Cube.

This could pave the road to a whole new kind of puzzle.

Wow! :o
Incredible design, very clever.

How about adding caps so there's also centre stickers :) (to not be "void cube")

I had thought of something like this, but never worked out how to do it. I like it!

If you look closely, then the screw holding the gear in place is the color the center stickers would be.

Very cool design, I would definately like to see puzzles like this produced.

This is a really impressive invention. Great to see new ideas like this in the cubing world.

Wow, wonderful! Although I'd like a version where the center stickers look just like the outer ones. Still this is great and I hope I can get one someday!

Very Cool! I think I remember seeing a screen shot somewhere of his concept, showing the gears added to the inside of the edge pieces. Glad to see this puzzle was finally brought to life!

WOW!!! A 3x3x3 unlike any I've seen before. Very original. I too would love to see these produced.

Thanks for posting the link,
Carl

A mechanical implementation of the Slice Group!
Cool!
BTW: According to Jaap it has 6144 permutations.

Videos from Oskar (which have many puzzles from Bram) are some that I enjoy the most.
The gear concept surely gives a new dimension not only to the 3x3x3 cube, but to all twisty puzzles.

:)

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone.

People very much want to see the internal gearing on other puzzles, but want it to be hidden on this one. People confuse me.

Hidden on this for everyone else, but show me how it works!

I scrambled and solved my cube like this today. It was pretty fun!

Wow, that's really amazing!

I've been playing with my cube, allowing myself only moves that would be the same as the Geary Cube would allow, and I'm getting some really neat patterns I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. What a wonderful idea!
