How does it turns ? because I made half of the pieces with the same design and it's a bit hard to turn.

We may be seeing more 3x3xNs soon than we are perfect cubes...

The legs would get pretty thin. A 3x3x6 or 3x3x8 wouldn't be too hard (theoretically) off of a 3x3x4.

That's quite a bit of very good handbuilding there! I'm thoroughly impressed. Keep up the great work!

I think at 3x3x9 the legs would just be too thin.
That's just speculation, though.

If my understanding is correct, you would eventually need to switch to a stronger material or larger cubies to make 3*3*N with very large N without developing an entirely new mechanism.

Absolutely amazing job on this puzzle. I still knew that my 3x3x7 project (abandoned due to too many snapped peices) would definately not be the first. Mine would not have been proportional, but yours is. This just completely blows my mind.

just doesn't cover it. I can't even imagine how much work this would take. This is almost like the petaminx of cuboids (not sure if that comparison is entirely accurate, but I hope you get the idea).

Excellent work. I was proud of my 2x2x6 (thanks for the clear directions, Ton!) and this puts it to shame.
