Common Household Spiders?

The spider for this one is 3D printed, has twelve legs, and sucks your life for 2 months!

Jason... wow. Words can not describe it. Breathtaking! Now, is the whole thing printed? Who says spiders have to have 8 legs? A 7 legged drawing of one almost paid a guy's bills, and yours sucks away lives and *wipes chin* makes people drool.

I can't wait for the next meetup!

Could we perhaps get a video? I'm sure everyone else is as anxious as I am to see this!

My cat got bitten by a spider on her eyeball a few months ago. It healed up in a few days with a bit of ointment. I wonder what one might prescribe for this spider though? Seems a pretty advanced species!

Just the evil, black hearted, twelve armed spider itself. The rest was cast from polyjet masters.

Now this is some interesting household spider. Never seen such a one in the houses I lived.
Luckily I have stopped collecting cubelike puzzles, so I can admire the pics without regret.

It's gorgeous!
The corners seem to be a little small. This is not even critics. It's just another interesting thing to me and makes me wonder why it looks like that.

I can definitely confirm that this species is not aggressive at all and only needs a little bit of twist training. From time to time this can lead to a form of complete confusion, but it is very patient when you're trying to help it to get everything in order again. It enjoys to be in company of other spider species.

My spider is somewhat smaller, but the whole family is very easy to keep at home.

Fantastic! Very well done. How does it turn? I'm still working on ours. I have to re-cast a number of parts due to tolerance issues. If you're builder #1, you made your parts from polyjet printing, which I think is probably our biggest downfall- FDM.

Anyway, it looks awesome!

I've been updated nearly every day on his progress including pics and a video. but you'll see a better one (video) soon. in any case I've known all along, so this post is boring me.

Yep! I was trying to be builder #1, anyway.

Congrats to Flambore and Calzone for hitting the finish line first. I can really appreciate what they went through getting theirs done. I also had some very, very late nights on this. I'll post some stats when I add final pics and video. About a week before they finished, I had a particularly brutal night of casting and cleaning parts, and I told Drew that if the other builder finished first, then he would get my respect and props. Props, guys.

Like everything in puzzle building, I found they had pros and cons. Drew and I have been discussing them as this build progressed. I will likely be switching back to FDM or CNC masters for future projects for awhile until I can work through some issues on the polyJet parts.
