Ahhhhh.......it's nice to get back to what I really enjoy doing.....chopping up a puzzle!

As you can see I started to sticker it. I was going to finish it tonight, but I won a vinyl cutter on Ebay this afternoon!! Cutting stickers like this FINALLY over!!

When I do that, it always worries me that one day I'll be reincarnated as one :lol:

Actually, it's Apoxie Sculpt and a lot of sanding!

Practically the whole puzzle is done by sanding/filing. I start on the belt sander to take down the majority of the material, followed by a couple different files to get closer to my marks. Then I disassembled it and filled each piece with Apoxie Sculpt....... re-assembled....sanded.....disassembled to round the edges of each piece........ cleaned each piece (see below)...... reassembled one last time and lubed it. I turn the puzzle as I'm sanding to make sure everything lines up on all sides.

It looks great Calzone! You even got the centers to be cut, makes it a super cube as well!

I'm thinking 6 color, but not the usual 6.

I have a few more 4x4 mods planned, but first I have to get going on my wait list puzzles.

Do you use black Apoxie Sculpt? Or do you use white and simply paint it black afterwords?

This was my first project with the new vinyl cutter!

I had planned on stickering this with the shade shifting material, but the $30 price tag for 6 little sheets is ridiculous.

I want to make the same mod because i love the look of it (sorry if I steal your ideas) and I wouold love to know if it would be better to fill first and then sand or first sand and then fill???
