Hi, it said, this puzzle still has no name, next Friday (December 19) will be held the national championship rubik (Spain) in the town where I live, and this will be the public who decides on a name for this puzzle, So for the moment has no name, but the real puzzle is there, and here it is:

Some initial cuts to approximate the final shape:

After a good time about a half an tubing with a sandpaper stuck inside:

So get this way:

And now, cover and stickers is what it is:

The pattern reminds me of the Bowtie Skewb

I suppose the 3x3x3 equivalent would be "Bowtie Cube"

Brilliant design and sanding method! The use of tessellations reminds me of M.C. Escher.

Well, finally, between 36 names that have been proposed have chosen that I like a lot, and I've put in the title of the thread, the name of this puzzle is Hexaball

Very nice indeed. There have been loads of beautiful 3x3x3 mods in the last few months. It is as though everyone is just starting to realise the possibilities in this puzzle.
