Hi, it said, this puzzle still has no name, next Friday (December 19) will be held the national championship rubik (Spain) in the town where I live, and this will be the public who decides on a name for this puzzle, So for the moment has no name, but the real puzzle is there, and here it is:

Some initial cuts to approximate the final shape:

After a good time about a half an tubing with a sandpaper stuck inside:

So get this way:

Great quality.

The pattern reminds me of the Bowtie Skewb

I suppose the 3x3x3 equivalent would be "Bowtie Cube" :)

You have talent my friend. I love it. I can't wait to get a name for this. (I'm compiling puzzles for the PotY thread at the moment. )

Brilliant design and sanding method! The use of tessellations reminds me of M.C. Escher.

Are you ready to take it to the next step?

Great, clean build. I love the look and the shape, so simple but creative and elegant. You're a master craftsman.

That's what it first made me think me of. Except a tenis ball usually has only two "sides". This one has six, right? Still, it really does look like one.

Once again a nice build. Keep them coming! :D

Well, finally, between 36 names that have been proposed have chosen that I like a lot, and I've put in the title of the thread, the name of this puzzle is Hexaball

Very nice indeed. There have been loads of beautiful 3x3x3 mods in the last few months. It is as though everyone is just starting to realise the possibilities in this puzzle.
