This is my latest Pyraminx mod. It's obviously still in progress. The sanding just never seems to end. I haven't come up with a name for it yet....... I think of it as Knuffy's cooler younger brother

My daughter has a book called Knuffy bunny. How about Peter? You can sticker it in pastel colors.
It also looks like kind of like a caltrop. How about rogue? tribulus?
I can see the tips better in this photo. It is very nice.

Very Impressive. How did you get those curvs on it? Good luck stickering it.

Calzone, you're really making a name for yourself as a builder here. Congratulations and great work.

I got to see some previews of his early progress on this puzzle. Amazing work, my friend. I can't wait to see it finished and stickered. Make a template and I'll cut them for ya.

Can we not argue about this? I mean does someone have to keep doing this for every thread? And then the conversation takes over the thread! Just PM a moderator and have them deal with it as they are the only ones who can judge if it's correct and if not, only they can move it.

After a ridiculous amount of sanding and fighting with curved stickers........ I introduce Tribulus! This puzzle turns REALLY well. Video coming soon. Thanks Katsmom for the name suggestion. Because of the camera flash, the tips appear dark. They are actually silver.

Looks really cool with the stickers! What does tribulus mean or resemble?

I love pyraminx mods! I might have to make one of these for myself. Assuming I can get the same curve on it as you did.

I can't believe how smooth that thing is. It's perfect. And it's a lot smaller than I had expected.

I would just like to say that the Tribulus seems more closely related to the Truncated Pyraminx, then to the Knuffy. Although I see the similarities to both puzzles.

Very nice, is this going to be a unique mod or are you planning on making more Calzone?

Nice use of curved pieces. The shape seems to give it natural finger contact areas.

I find it funny that tribulus is also a herb that is supposed to increase testosterone in men. Sorry I brought this up, but I saw the suggested videos after the video and one of them was on this subject. It makes the puzzle seem more manly now, I suppose.

Thanks, but this one is actually done by hand. I've thought about casting these pieces, but ultimately decided against it. Good luck with your casting project!
