i think that it would be very easy to make, just take a 3x3 core, cut off the top and bottom parts and extend the remaining 4 centers

@Superman: You are right. It is a Skewb mod. It is a mod which has already been posted before, but with the triangles a the top and bottom shaved down. Who was it?

The third one is in fact named "Edges Only Floppy Cube".
You may ask "why?"
1. It hasn't been done before.
2. I am not capable of build a real floppy cube.
3. Several members own 1x1x2's => Simplicity alone is no objection to a mod.

Does anybody want to guess what is the story behind the Octahedron?

the one on the right is a 5x5 trabajers octahedron bandaged into a 3x3 trabajersoctahedron, the one on the right is an edges only floppy cube which is jsut a 3x3 core with extended pieces,and the top and bottom centers are removed. the one in the middle im guessing is a skewb mod. great mods

It's a trajber's octa with no truncation of corner cubies (aka you just added on to a rubik's cube instead of cutting anything down)? I think I'm wrong though, because I thought you already made one like this.

Do you plan on making a "mini" trajber's like I did a while back (made from a 3x3 but with the method of making a curvy mastermorphix)? I'd love to see it with tips. I know mine is pretty poor quality, so I know that you would make a much better one.

Also, has anyone done a keychain trajber's?

Keychain Trabjer's Octahedron would be so fiddly to make, maybe not with printing/casting

It is a Octahedron build up from a 0.5-truncated 3x3x3
It is now lying besides the octahedron build up from
-2.0-truncated 3x3x3 (aka Truncated Traijbers Octahedron)
-1.5-truncated 3x3x3 (aka Cuboctahedron)
-1.0-truncated 3x3x3 (aka Truncated Cube)
-0.0-truncated 3x3x3 (aka Rubiks Cube)

And by now there are no plans even to build the 2.5 truncated cube because there won't be not much left.
