After finding a workaround for my camera's crash, I would like to present you: UltimateBandagedCube
After Patricks LegoCube I had to build this thing.

I really like the fact that this mod doesn't need to be stickered.
But this is just the "beginning".
With additional plates one can implement all the 7356 different bandagings except the 2 most stupid ones. Here are two examples:

or the Bandaged cube from Mefferts:

I have to admit this mod is not perfect because of the color scheme. I chose this strange colors because for them all needed plate were available at lego.com. Only red, blue and white were the only traditional Rubik colors. For the others I had to choose grey, a kind of strange yellow and black.
And even for this six colors not every needed kind of plate was available.

Woah, that is actually such an amazing idea.

At first I didn't understand it, but now I do. That's an amazing idea!

Really nice idea. Not only can you emulate a bunch of puzzles you could also use it to test out new ideas to see how well they work before jumping into a build.

Really neat idea. And it is a massage cube, too.

Andreas, a very cool idea, I know you are very interested in bandaged puzzles,
so this should be perfect for you. Congratulations to this idea.
It will be interesting to see, how you can transfer this also to puzzle with different shapes.

1. Seems impossible because of the non-90 degrees-angles on the Megaminx. But I thought of the 4x4x4... Lets see.

3. Besides the other 100 mods? I will do what I can.

Feel free if you like. For every color I need:
4 times 1x1-Plate (corners)
4 times 1x2-Plate (edges)
1 time 2x2-Plate (faces)
4 times 1x4-Plate (corner-edge-gluing)
1 time 2x4-Plate (edge-face-gluing)
2 times 1x6-Plate (corner-edge-corner-gluing)
1 time 2x6-Plate (edge-face-edge-gluing)
1 time 4x4-Plate (2x2-gluing)
1 time 4x6-Plate (2x3-gluing)
in colors: green, orange.

@hawk: I don't remember a specific thread.

The Boob-variants: 1x1x3 and 1x1x2. They can't be achieved because I didn't bought some 6x6-plates. I would have bought them if they had been available in appropriate colors.

I could be possible to do this with a double layer of bandaging pieces.
IBandaging a single line should be possible, using 1xN Lego pieces
If two adjacent lines are bandaged (means Corner-Edge and Edge-Center),
then the two bandaging pieces could been bandaged themselves by a second layer.
Anyway I am not sure, if you the center size fits to the Lego distance dimensions,
this could be the crucical point.

Ok - use a Pyraminx Crystal instead

Bandaging a Megaminx / Pyraminx Crystal with double layers? Brrrr. Possible but far from being aesthetically pleasing. AND I would have to make use of 1x3- and 1x5-plates to realize it which are hard to get.
BTW: I made a mistake. There are only 4859-2 mod in 1. The other 2500 use faces which are glued to the core. And this gluing is not implementable with gluings on the surface.
