Great puzzle! It's a little hard to tell, but does it have any overhang bandaging?

I have a sneaking suspicion that this utilizes 3x3x5 extension mechanism seen on the Grigr puzzles

Actually, from what I can see, the underlying puzze is a normal 3x3. But it is deceiving, indeed! :twisted:

It looks to me like a normal 3x3 but with additional peices glued on to look like a fused cube, hence, why there was that black corner cluster in the chequer board pattern. Nice idea if you have some spare cubies.
