Ok, I know what you're all thinking - he's seeing £££'s in front of his eyes after the sale of the mirrorborg yesterday. Ok, maybe I am a little, but that's not the reason for making this new colour scheme mod. It was actually made about 2 days into the auction (started while the cube was up for about £21, and finished at the £41 mark). I always intended to make it, but didn't want to affect the sale through showing this one off early. For anyone who really wants proof, check the timestamp for the first announcement of this one in the cube mod forum of Rubiksmaster.com. It's intended to be another one-off, like the Warborg. I do not intend to make any more of these in this scheme. There are plans for a 3rd colour scheme mod one-off, but that will be some time off. I ordered this white bump cube before christmas specifically for this mod, but when my graphics card had packed up, I still hadn't got it, so I used a black one. It arrived about 24 hours after I had put the mirror blocks on ebay and as I had the tools and bits out, and because a friend asked me to do a making of vid, it seemed the perfect time to do it. I'll post the ebay stuff and vid in the marketplace in a few mins... Hope you like it.

That sounds pretty cool. I'm not as sure I could guarantee the paint job though, since I've only been using acrylic paints from brands I know to date.

There are certainly acrylic phosphorescent paints, but I haven't used them, so can't comment about paint quality. Another option might be to use phosphorescent plastic for the raised bits and avoid painting them entirely.
