Nice collection! I'm always pumped to see other Canadians on here too, haha. GoombaGeek wrote: Yeah, that's it. Any glaring holes in my collection? I must know!!
You could always get the V-Cube 6/7, then you'd have the full set of 2x2-7x7 cubes.

If you can solve the 5x5.. the next puzzle on your list is the Crazy 3x3 Jupiter for $20 . And a tower: 3x3x2, and/or 3x3x4. Cheers, Burgo.

All good ideas. For the V-Cube 6/7, my birthday's coming up and the V-Cube 7 is on my list (odd-numbered cubes are more fun for me to solve, the V-Cube 6 I might get sometime), the Circle Cube I might be able to buy myself (it represents 3 weeks of my allowance... ), and the Master Skewb I'll think about. Is there any non-KO Master Skewb, or does it just have no patent? I also want a Gigaminx for my birthday, so there's also that.

Nice collection. I like the fact that you only have one of ech kind of puzzle. It's a nice collection, well done.

I would only consider getting the Guhong Memory (or x other excellent speedcube) as a duplicate, after that I find it more fun to just solve the puzzles than to solve them really really fast. (Although the Megaminx record of 46-ish seconds compared to the cube record of 6-ish seconds seems odd, since the Megaminx only has twice the number of parts... or is it because the Megaminx is harder to grip and is more fragile?)

I didn't realize the Perplexus has other versions. I'll have to get them. Looks like you have the rookie version. I'll have to get that and the epic version.

-d I also have the normal version, but I didn't buy it (my mom bought it for herself)

PRE-BIRTHDAY UPDATE: My real birthday is September 6, but due to unique circumstances I'm receiving two puzzles about a month early. One was just a good deal and an awesome find (Discovery Hut, Chinook Shopping Centre, Gear Cube Extreme, $40), and the other is my early gift (V-Cube 7, PuzzleMaster online store, white plastic) - I'm getting it now so my grandma knows what to order (I don't blame her - there are way too many V-Cube 7 variations).
Again, pictures will be coming when I get back from my week-long stay in Calgary.

REAL BIRTHDAY UPDATE: I was waiting a bit for this, but I've gotten some of my birthday presents and I might as well make this a 2-part update. Pictures will come once I've opened everything: for now, you guys all get a text list. - Curvy Copter (birthday gift) - Alexander's Star (lucky find at a relative's house) - Cube4You Gigaminx (birthday gift) - Hanayama's Cast Marble (found in BC) I also have $25 to spend just on puzzles (and probably an additional $50 as well). And I haven't even gotten gifts from my non-immediate family yet (I know they exist. but I have not received them. Just clearing this up)!

The final birthday update (my birthday was REALLY drawn out, since my relatives are always traveling): - Professor Pyraminx - Mosaic Cube (I'm quite happy with the turning on mine) - $50 - $25
And that's... $75 to spend on puzzles! I'm thinking DaYan Gem II, Square-1, and something else (mastermorphynx?). Thoughts?

Either that or a 3x3x2, since a 3x3x4 basically solves like two of them at once.

NOT YET CHRISTMAS UPDATE: DaYan Gem II, Vulcano, Rubik's Magic, FTO, Square-1, MF8 Legend, Super Floppy Cube are all in my collection now and hopefully a Pyraminx Crystal + Master Skewb will be ordered soon. I'm also posting here because clauswe's family pictures shoved this thread all the way to the second page

Um.
I picked up way too much stuff in Europe.
I got the 8 Bermuda planets for Christmas, and an Impossiball. I also bought a Rex Cube and Master Skewb.
And the bermuda planets are really great! I'm not too keen on the houses/stars/columns though, which is why I didn't ask for them.
