In December 2005 Lee Tutt presented his beautiful and ingenious Tuttminx.
In January 2009, some months after Lee Tutt had been present at the DCD of 2008, I received the stl-files of the Tuttminx and 2 sets of pieces were made.
The puzzles made from these parts have thus far not been shown at this website.
Earlier this year, also in January, Leslie Le presented his version of the Tuttminx, based on Lee Tutt’s design but with more curved cuts.
It is a beautiful puzzle, available in various designs.
Leslie printed some stickers for me for the 3d printed sample which I would like to present here in comparison with the new design.

The original Tuttminx is slightly larger than the new version. This is because Lee Tutt designed it such that the pentagonal faces of the Tuttminx would have the same dimensions as the faces of the Megaminx. The somewhat smaller new version is easier to handle. It also has improved turning, partly because of the mass-produced parts but also because of the more curved cuts.
