When people ask me to change their account name for them, I usually do it. This happens behind the scenes instantly and quietly, potentially causing confusion on the forum. This thread is intended to mitigate any confusion caused by such changes.

To bad we can't have sort of something like Ebay ID History and (my Idea & I hate change) choose which name we would like to associate with if we could.

I was wondering if I could change my e-mail but keep name and posts so people can recognize me or change may e-mail and name but keep the posts( I just want to get rid of my hotmail mail account and I also worry about my name being exposed). I hate to change it for people that don't like change like me.

My old name was a little silly

Darren I recently changed my email on the forum.
It requires your account to be deactivated until an admin reactivates it. (Sorry for if it’s inconvenient)
But after that everything is good as new.

Yeah, I changed my email account and it deactivated my account temporarily too.


I've been thinking about changing my name because I don't really like Rentlix and I go by Ender Delphiki on every other account I've got. But, I'm not really sure I want to contribute to some of the name confusion.

In addition, the user "Doubleyou" changed his name to "Sigurd". This was prior to 2011, I think, so that's why he doesn't show up on this list.
