When a topic is given a subject, that subject then becomes attached to each post thereafter.

Recently people have been putting information in their subject that later becomes something I have to edit for KO policy reasons. Since each person to reply has this automatically copied, I then have to edit each and every message to fix the problem, which is a big pain.

Review and follow our KO policy. I know it can be confusing at times but we are trying to do the right thing.

When it comes to topic subjects take some care to avoid anything that might be related to KO issues, particularly names of producers/sellers known to make/sell KO puzzles. Many producers/sellers are involved in non-KO puzzles which is great, and there is no problem talking about them. Do me the favor of keeping it out of the subject. Because if the topic switches to KOs, suddenly I have a lot of work to do either editing posts or deleting people who bend it towards something that, combined with the producer name in the subject, becomes a violation.

I would like to add that if you are in doubt about a producer of a puzzle or it's 'legality' to send me a pm. I am happy to attempt to clarify any questions you may have....be warned though, you may get more information than you wanted. I tend to be verbose

One other thing: Avoid names in attached files unless you are sure they are acceptable.
It is easy to edit a caption but for a filename with KO information I have no choice but to delete it.
