I have several Magic Octahedron puzzles in my possession. They are all of the same size and obviously of the same production. However the color scheme is different in all of them. Moreover, one of them has a light blue (sky blue) color instead of orange on all other octahedrons. So, what's the deal with these puzzles? Was is intentional that all Magic Octahedrons that I got my hands on have different color arrangements?

Jaap, I do mean an octahedron. The second link in your post, third picture, the puzzle in the middle. I have several in my possession at the moment, and all have different color arrangment!

Are you're leaving us hanging on purpose?!
The Octagonal Prisms and the Cuboctahedrons made by the same company have seemingly random colour patterns. Maybe the same company made some Octahedrons?
