Many of us knew that V-Cube 5,6 and 7 and coming out first, but if you only have to option to have one of them when preordering, which one will you get first?
V-Cube 5: -You can take it to a competition right after you bought it, and have an advantage against rubik's and eastsheens -Cheapest(Probably)
V-Cube 6: -Biggest cubic cube -Biggest even cube
V-Cube 7: -Biggest odd cube -The only pillowed cube(If V-Cube 6's version is not made,I haven't seen one in real life)
I would get a 7, because it's the biggest and I like to feel of my hand stretching quite hard to grab the cube(I have pretty small hands)

I'd order the 7x7x7 for two reasons:
1. It will be the highest order available 2. I prefer odd cubes
I won't feel right, though, until I pick up a 6x6x6 too to fill the hole

As much as I hate even cubes, I voted 6. The sheer amount of possible bandages will keep me entertained for a while.

Yeah. As much as I love cubes, and as much as I could use a better 5x5, the sheer range of things you can DO with a 6x6 means that that would be the one I want if I can only get one. It's just the most interesting of the three

I would get a 5x5.
From trying Clancy's V-Cubes, the 5x5 was by far the most impressive. Unpoppable, indestructible. I honestly thing a well-tuned V-cube is the best possible 5x5. The 6 I tried was an old prototype, so I have little to say about that, but the 7, while impressive, still popped occasionally.
Not to mention the fact that the 5x5 event is going to be held at many more competitions.

Those are some provocative observations. I never really thought about it before because I just blindly wanted them all. From a pattern-builder's perspective, the 6x6x6 is the must-have-or-die cube in that group. - I have a closetful of uncompleted patterns that warrant an even-numbered cube, but a 4x4x4 just isn't adequate. For instance, my first 16-cycle pattern was feasible on a 5x5x5 but it looked unbalanced so I didn't like it. It wouldn't also be unbalanced on a 7x7x7, but a 6x6x6 would be perfect.
- A 6x6x6 can be divided (visually) into eight 3x3x3-like sub-cubes. This creates an entirely new category of possible patterns and pattern themes not feasible on the other cubes.
- The 5x5x5 would not give me any new patterns to work with, and a 7x7x7 would continually remind me I had to 'skip' an intermediate category of patterns.
- It would be tedious to be forced to use a 7x7x7 to create a pattern where a 6x6x6 would have sufficed.
- Even-numbered cubes like the 6x6x6 can do patterns that have odd middle-edge parity or center-displacements.

It's a really hard decision.
The new 5x5x5 is obviously going to be THE 5x5x5 cube once it comes out, especially for speedcubing. It's smaller than Rubik's, which are often complained about because of their size, it's larger than Eastsheens which are complained about for often being too small. Apparently it NEVER pops either.
I have an odd attraction to the 6x6x6. I find myself solving them on Gabbasoft all the time.
However, in the end, I just want the biggest cube possible. So I'm choosing the 7x7x7. Plus the pillowed look is awesome.

6x6x6. Eastsheen 5x5x5s work well enough for me, and I would hate solving a 7x7x7.

I like the size of the v-5, but after solving my 5x5 3-4 times a day because kids at school like to record me solving it on their phones gets boring, and I have always had difficulty solving "centerless" cubes (4x4). So i support the 7x7, and its totally awesome pillow shape

Hard decision for me between 6x6 and 7x7. I would say 6x6x6 for me: think of it this way---2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 7x7 ????

I don't dare to estimate the effect of additional gluings of higher order. Without symmetrie you can divide the number by 47.9999. A Hint: Concentrate on the highly symmetrical bandages. There should be enough of them to spend thousands of dollars.

I meant for simple cuboid simulations.
