I started to scramble my Mixup Cube and a small piece came loose from the area of the red center. It is now sitting beside the cube on the desk. What to do? Will it require a full take-apart and reassembly? I did a search on youtube for "mixup cube assembly" but did not see one. Something tells me that this could be a nightmare. Suggestions?

I think I got it back in correctly. I popped off a couple edge pieces and could see where it needed to go.

Unfortunately another one of the tiny inner pieces was backwards, so I took it out and put it in correctly also.

I think I am good to go, but wonder if I should do anything to avoid this happening again. Tension the screws maybe?

Anyone have similar experiences? Any suggestions?

I had trouble with mine popping, and it is indeed a nightmare to assemble (at least for me). I ended up tightening the tensions just a bit and that seemed to stop the problem.

Good luck!

I have continued to play with it over the last couple weeks with no more incidents, of which I am very thankful.

The funny thing is, I got this puzzle because it looked so stable and simple from the outside.
