Dear Geert, Frank and Konrad,

Would you please be so kind as to notify as many puzzlers as possible on the various puzzle forums that www.Mefferts.com and www.Jadeclub.org as well as our email servers are down due to some technical problems and our ISP is working hard to fix it, hopefully within the next 48 hours. I apologize for any inconvenience cause by this unfortunate breakdown.
Happy Puzzling,
Uwe Meffert.

Just a small follow up. Meffert also sent this to me, but included some alternate email addresses in the interim. I wasn't sure if he wanted his personal email shared so I have removed that.

I really hope I didn't break the site. I ordered a Treasure Chest with one of the special gifts (which I figured might have been sold out), and shortly after I placed my order, the website was down. Whoops... :?

I guess the main concern is for those of us who ordered before the site went down. I'm assuming all orders placed were recorded, but it would be good to know for sure. I suppose no news is good news :? This is nothing to do with trust or lack of trust in Meffert's, rather just knowing that the orders weren't somehow lost in the ether.

Did you ever hear back from Meffert's about your order? I've sent two messages through their site, and no response. Also didn't get an email about my package being sent, but I haven't ordered from Meffert's before, so I'm not sure if that's something they normally do.

Well I ordered through the jade club before it went down. I did get a paypal receipt via email, but have heard nothing from jade or meffert's since. The frustrating thing about the jade club site is its amateurishness. There's not a thing in there about what orders you've placed, what stage they're at. Just the normal stuff you'd expect from a site you're giving money to. I just have to hope it's all good.

Same with me. Got a PayPal receipt, nothing from Mefferts. I wrote an email asking to confirm the order, but I never heard back. I hope everyone is OK!

I paid the Jade Club for the 4 Ghost cubes + free limited edition on 10th March via PayPal, but I too have heard nothing, and no answers to emails either. This is a poor response from a so-called premier site for serious puzzlers.

I bought 1 Ghost Cube at Mefferts on March 9th. Got a mail from paypal itself that confirmed the payment, but haven't had any mail from Meffert's itself about it. And I also don't have any way to track it since I used the free shipping option. (Also, I didn't had to fill in any address when I ordered my Ghost Cube, though I do have my address saved in paypal, so that could be the reason.)

Does anyone know the shipping time to the Netherlands for Mefferts? Usually my orders from lightake or hknowstore are here in 11-14 days after they've shipped it. If Mefferts has about the same shipping time I should receive it any moment now.

Greetz,
Quuador

Edit: Missed the word Pre-Order at the Ghost Cube page of Meffert's. Anyone know when these will be send to those who (pre-)ordered them?

I bought the set too off Jade, but thought these were still Pre-Order. I didn't expect them even to ship before the end of the month. Not expecting mine before mid-April, but be nice if they turn up before that.

Well, I got my puzzles today! I guess everyone is just fine.

HK to NYC in about a week, not bad.

What date did you order your puzzles? If it was a week ago, then it was after the technical issues.

Actually I ordered the puzzles Mar 9. I think the site went down around then, plus or minus a few days.
OK so it was more than a week :) But the key is that I got them! Now all I have to do is solve them.

I got the new Lattice Cube, the Pitcher Octo-Star cube and the Curvy Copter Plus, and a Ghost cube on back order; the note said "will ship later"

EDIT: I see now the shipping notice in the box is dated Mar 19 so yes it was about a week from HK to NYC for the shipping. I had it delivered to a PO box so it came some time this week, dunno which day. Not sure what happened between Mar 9 and Mar 19 unless they were just busy doing other stuff.

22 and 23 March Uwe and I were taking a walk around Shenzhen. 100K. He finished. I didn't.

I still haven't received my ghost cube that I ordered on March 9. I just found out that Jade Club has my old address on my account. When I payed through paypal, however, I used the correct address. I wonder if they use the address they have or the one I give when I pay?
