I recently received the mass produced 4x4x5, and it was one of the most smooth and stable puzzles I own. Until today. For some reason, one of the 4x5 faces will not turn (the top and bottom layers turn normally, the middle layer is the one acting strange). I can force it, but when I do it makes a sound like plastic snapping back into place. I want to disassemble it to find out why. Does anyone have a good tutorial?

It has been a while since I disassembled mine but your symptom is that the internal bandaging is inserted wrong. Search the forum or Youtube and you'll find more info about how to assemble it and how to put the bandaging in correctly.

Actually, I won't need to anymore. I watched MeMyselfandPi's review, which revealed the fact that some of the center pieces can be removed. I tried that, and found a buckyball (or neocube, I don't know) stuck to one of the screws! I removed it with tweezers, and now it is working well again. Thanks anyway though,

How do you got a magnet inside the puzzle?

It's just strange

I had some buckyballs and after a while they ended up in every conceivable place. I'm not too surprised one ended up in a puzzle
