This message is about two things:

1. Museum progress
After some weeks of doing something else I could go back to my job as moderator.
I wote descriptions, edited and uploaded the images of a new batch of ca. 50 puzzles.
This batch helped me to break the barrier of 3500 entries in den museum.

2. I am searching for names:
I have a list of older forum threads. The puzzles in these threads are not entered yet because I do not know the inventors names. I am sure some of them left the forum forever and therefore the PMs I sent them will never be answered.
But maybe some of you out there know their names from the past. The nicknames are:

As usual I want to thank all the contributors, the members who edit their images by themselves, and my image editors. There are to few of all of them.

Is it ok to ask this? What if they want to keep it private? Some people prefer to keep their real names off the internet.

It's always ok to ask, but everybody's right is not to answer.

Yes but since most are inactive the answers won't come from the people themselves. I suspect it's ok but in the past when I have asked people who I should credit a video or puzzle to often they give a username rather than an actual name.

So far everyone I asked for their names gave me the true answer. Seemed like they were all proud to have their puzzle in the museum...

I will restate my question:
Can anybody help me making contact with the persons behind the usernames given above?
Youtube? Skype? Snailmail?

It is quite reasonable for Andreas, in his capacity of Site Museum Moderator to contact them for that issue, so I have provided contact information to him privately. By registering an email address with the site they have consented to be contacted by the site and its staff.

But in general no, people should only give contact information after checking with the source first. It's just courtesy.
