Except for visiting the Puzzle Addictions store before it closed I have never been to a twisty puzzles "gathering". Are there any meetups or competitions soon? If not we should set one up.
And who else lives in the region?

I live in the Midwest, so I might be able to make it to a gathering in colorado.

What with the fires... Colorado is 269,837 km^2, the Waldo Canyon fire has burned 73.84 km^2 and the High Park fire has burned 353.1 km^2. Yes they have displaced a lot of folks but for the vast majority of the state it's just day-to-day lives as usual. The east coast power outage(s) are far more impacting to daily life.

July 4th was weird. Because everyone is so worried about fires it was illegal to even own fireworks in most of the state. Almost all public shows got canceled. So unless you have a cube that shoots out fire, everything is fine.

The fires are pretty much only in forested areas anyway. So unless the plan was for some sort of cube hike, I think it’s fine. I also would love to go to a Colorado meetup. So count me in.

So me, Eye2Eye, and RubiksMaster614 are potentials. If we can find a couple more I think we should set something up. Do Eitan and Ender still live in the area? The Puzzle Addictions guy might also be interested. My Uncle has a student that would also enjoy it so lets figure this out!

The only problem is once summer is over, we have school. So I suggest we plan it for next year.
