Source- Uwe Meffert stated that in 10 years 4000 were sold.
Seeing as they are sold out it seems likely that 4000 is the actual number made.
This is a request to anyone in the know to post the total number of a particular puzzle made. Naturally it needs to be a puzzle no longer produced or at least an initial batch with uncertainty about more. This is a subject often discussed but never put together in one place. I hope to provide more information myself and figured the Dogic would make a good start. I suggest a similar format to this post. ie, puzzle and quantity first for easy reference. Then source where possible and any other information you care to add. I think it would be especially interesting to find out the numbers of the Uwe Meffert 'limited puzzles' we often hear about.

Tony, Dogic was 4000 by original inventor and then another 4000 by Uwe. Or at least that is what he tells me.
black and white are a 3:1 split on his 'limited' editions. I think it is 1500:500. But this is your lucky day! I'm meeting him in less than an hour and will be with him all day so I'll ask loads of questions for you. Hopefully I'll have some numbers this evening.

Excellent, I don't even know the numbers for Golden Cubes.

He's thinking hard. I can tell by the look on his face. He says no more than 3000. And he had to redo the molds to many times. It was costly. But he's really glad he made it. He says the pyraminx crystal was around 5000 and the rest of the limited editions were between 1000-1500 depending.
