I just had a very nice meeting with Darryl. We met at the Barnes and Noble in Evanston and played with puzzles for 30 to 45 minutes. It was short, but it was great to meet another forum member in person!
Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera (my iPod touch had run out of batteries). I had my ETRD, FTPD, MegaTwist, and GigaTwist with me. He brought a few disentanglement puzzles, a very tricky wooden puzzle that kind of pissed me off because it required brute force (not much, but more than most disassembly puzzles) which I felt is not in the spirit, TomZ's Curvy Copter, a few sliding puzzles, a Lunatic Lock (that I couldn't figure out), and the Hanayama Cast Spiral
(which I did figure out!).
