Today I got a package in the mail, containing a 2-layer cheese from DianSheng, among several other puzzles. When I got it, the slice turned terribly, and seems to have ball bearings (probably for alignment). I want to disassemble it, remove the ball bearing(s) and glue down a piece, so that the middle layer does not turn so difficult. Is there a possible way to do this? (I cannot seem to find a screw anywhere, or any place to pop the puzzle. But it had to be put together one way or another...)
Any info from Cheese-owners out there?
thanks before-hand,
sj

sorry for the double post, but just announcing that I've gotten it apart like the UFO would come apart. It does have screws, and a ball bearing. I had to drill in through the back of the piece and remove the ball-bearing.

It would help if you posted the pictures of the internals and hints for the disassembly for everyone to see.

Here are some photos. To disassemble, the only possible way is to wiggle it, until it is loose enough to pop out a 'cake slice'. Afterwards, you can find the screw inside the stabilizing corner. Take this screw out, and instead stabilize the corner with a piece of paper. This way it will allow you to easily assmeble-disassemble the puzzle in the future. BTW AFAIK there is no way you can possibly get a screwdriver between the pieces with out taking a few out.

You don't need to force any of the pieces.

Twist the layers 30 degrees out of phase and slip a thin screwdriver between 2 of the 'cake slices'. Each slice has a screw 7mm in from the circumference. Once that screw is out, the slice will come off in 2 parts.
