So I know everyone is expecting C4Y to come out with one at some point, since they've had the category on their website sidebar for a while now. However, in the past few days a 3x3x2 that certainly looks mass-produced has surfaced (in small numbers) on a popular auction site, from a seller (from HK) who happens to deal pretty much exclusively in KO cubes... Does anyone know more about this? What's the legal status of the 3x3x2? Does this mean we should expect an imminent flood of production 3x3x2s?

That just sounds wonderful! Thank you.
C4Y next product is 3x3x5 and Teraminx. It's on their forum.

The 3x3x2 was mass produced around 28 years ago or so...

There appears to be a mass-produced 3x3x2 on eBay. I do not think that this is the Cube4You brand.

i just messaged the seller regarding the measurements and if it is the same size as a normal 3x3 cubies. hopefully he will say yes... i purchase a lot of knockoffs (just because my mom is a b word about purchasing expensive things online)... so i gotta order this.. cuz i wanted resin for a 3x3x2 but i realized if i cast a 3x3 im definately going to make an axis and hex. dipyramid

A 3x3x2 is something I want, but I'm getting a few C4Y 3x3x4s so I can have some 3x3x5s.

There was an edges-only floppy cube on eBay a while back. It didn't even have the trapezoid edges, the corners had just be taken off! Alex

I don't think this puzzle would legally be considered a knock off, because the patent is from 1983. As far as I have found it has not since been renewed. However, I may be incorrect. So is there harm in posting more in depth on where to find this puzzle? I would very much like to own a 2x3x3 with standard sticker colors, because it is my favorite cuboid.

I'm thinking one and a cubic one, too. I won't be selling the cubic, but I'll be sure to post some pictures when I make them, some time in late january.

Did anyone who bought the black one get an email from the seller saying...
Dear ******,
Sorry to say that due to too many parcels in this Christmas season, our colleague make a mistake by writting a wrong address on your parcel. And, the black body is currently out of stock. If you agree, I would like to resent you a white body 3x3x2 cube with free gift immediately. Please advise.
best regards,
I paid as soon as I clicked on the "Buy It Now" option.

I sent a reply saying that I paid for a black one and that's the one I want and was willing to wait a bit longer for the black. They didn't respond yet.

I've had the same communication. I don't want to quote private communication since this is against the rules (but it's okay to summarize, right?)
The gift is probably a "2x2 magic panel". Black may possibly be back in stock in a few weeks...

They told me they would send me a black one when they get it in. (someone said to me) If you don't get what you want give bad feedback and dispute with paypal. I wouldn't do that.

I told them I would wait (for a black one) and I did. They just sent me an email saying that it's (the black one) being shipped. Plus now the black ones are back up on ebay. Oh man I can't wait to get it. I'll post as soon as I get it.

A black 3x3x2 is now available at a much more reasonable price: $5.61 USD, with free shipping. If you search for the word "cube" on this site, you'll find many more recently-made mods at lower prices as well.
