I don't want to step over any boundaries, because I know how you feel about giving away your designs. However, I was wondering if the mini gigaminx is successful, will you open it up for other people to print. I would much rather pay $130 more for a small and hopefully better turning gigaminx, rather than Cube4you's gigaminx.

I second that!

Guys, TomZ made a very appropriate post at the top of this page. Save the Mini-Gigaminx talk for a thread Drewseph will create when he is ready, or at least keep it out of this thread.

I'm about a week away from showing the latest from me. A collaboration with Josh B. If you've paid attention to his most recent work, you'll know the puzzle its based around.

Come on guys (and gal!), you know the rules set by Pantazis.

Instead of answering, I'll give a further hint: I see no connection between Batman and Robin and a 4x4x4 anything. My hint was specific, and there is a very definite connection but intentionally not so helpful ;)

Which is the point of this thread...

One more that probably won't help: This puzzle is my first collaboration with a particular well known member of the forum, but hopefully not my last :)

Many thanks for everyone helping to keep this thread free of extra comments. ;)

I know some are getting very curious, but isn't this the whole point?
(as stated, just use your imagination!)

My hints of the day:

Tomorrow. New parts combined with old parts. Civil Engineering workshop. Hope puzzle works.

It was a pain (sweared many times in Greek LOL),
but I managed to assemble it a few minutes ago.
The puzzle *does* work despite some imperfect prototype parts!

New hint: It is as beautiful as a Manta Ray!

Kind of like my attempt at a gigaminx. Turn it wrong and the whole thing bursts apart. (Though much less messy than a sea mine... 8-) )

Technically an ES 2x2 keychain mod, but has 64 cast pieces and might fly if it weren't 90cm to an edge. I don't think I could safely make it much smaller than that, either.

I know I haven't been on here much in the last few months, but hopefully I'll get this finished up!

What would you suggest if you have some ideas but don't know how to make 3d prints? I'd shout out my ideas, but i'd regret it if others make money off my idea (like it happened to so many of you). I must say, i have no money to invest nor do i expect that it would be a topseller.

I would suggest the same thing I wrote in the first post. To give a hint, not the idea.
Now, it is up to you how close you want to make this tip!

You gave a hint but you have people working on it. i Can give 300 hits, nothing will ever move, and if it does, it will move in a bad way. I don't know if you uderstand me.

If it is a vague hint, how can people work on it in the first place?
In the end of day, if you are not comfortable, you don't need to give
any hints at all. But in my case, I like to shout something from time to time!

:)

Now, that is a scary thought.

I'm still considering working on the Junior Barrel +. Engineering school is getting pretty hairy. Thermo 2 = , but Component Design = 8-) (i.e. Awesome).

It's been done before - but now smaller - and with a more simple mechanism. To be revealed in a few weeks.

It is just that. I'm not sure how mini it is, but it is smaller than a normal brilic. Mini master sounds good, but you're still missing one adjective though.
