There is a lot of interesting puzzles in people's avatars and instead of sending mass PM's asking what they are I thought this would be easier.
If you would be so kind, could you post a picture of it (in case you change it) along with the name and any other information about it?

The puzzle in my avatar is a Hungarian Globe (otherwise known as the Equator puzzle) They are moderately rare and mine is in pretty good condition, it has a picture of the world on it which makes it nice to look at. It's just a simple globe with sliding metal pieces, and I've never actually scrambled it for two reasons: 1. The guy who gave me it had already scrambled it. 2. I barely know how to solve the darn thing I was lucky enough to receive a boxed one with the original instructions Funnily enough, it was made in Hungary and it was originally branded as "The Magic Globe".

My avatar is a rubiks world from 1982. The picture is from the twistypuzzle database, but I do have one myself. here's the information of the puzzle itself: http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pid=589Unfortunately I don't have the original stand for it, nor the box. Mine also sais 'made in taiwan' instead of Hong Kong. Ibought it form Georges for a very nice price, like five times cheaper than it is listed in the database. In order to solve it you do need to know where the continents are in correlation to each other.

Looks to me like the rare Rubik's-brand Saiyankirby puzzle head from 1993 produced by ITC, of which only 15 were made! How did you get your hands on one of them? I saw one on eBay go for like 530 USD.

Mine is a 3x3x9 which I'm currently working on which will be fully functional, but a little fragile.

Wow, Darryl, I never realized that there was a cat in that picture! I always assumed it was a regular 3x3 taken apart, but now I see how big it is! My avatar is of my second mod, my square pyramid, seen here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11580&hilit=paul%27s+square+pyramid

It's a conceptual no-edge cube with stickers applied to all the visible faces of the cubies. It might be close to impossible to build, but I'm still thinking about it...

My avatar is always the latest thing I've sawn off and/or built up.
I get bored looking at the same avatar very quickly, so this is good motivation for me to modify stuff.
