Bandaging actually is possible on UMC :)

Of course jumbling isn't. When UMC was written, we didn't understand jumbling all that well, and I think there's still a lot we have to learn about it.

My website, IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE but it used to be the only site with "official" guides for the Helicopter Cube, SuperX, Master Skewb, and many more! :D

Here's an idea I've wanted to try out for some time, but wasn't sure if it would work until now...

The first variation is based loosely off the principals of Mefferts Bi-Cube.
The second variation has deeper bandaging with bigger shapes.
Enjoy...

BTW, applet really hurts the hands when using a touchpad - needs to get real mouse...

Oh noes - 8:00 in the morning and I've got class at 9:30 - looks like I won't be getting much sleep, AGAIN

Update: I did some minor tweaks on the file. This is the final version!

That's phreaking sweet, dude! I'm probably gonna build this sometime. How long ago did you make yours? Got any cutting tips on stickering? LOL!

I restickered my Face-turning octahedron earlier using red, blue, green, and yellow stickers from Dr Sticker, and playing with it I got to thinking how awesome it would be if someone combined the Face Turing Octahedron with a magic Octahedron (4x4x4 mod), because outwardly, they'd look almost identical but turn in drastically different ways. I'd bet it'd work really well with Ultimate Magic Cube

I suppose the first question was meant seriously:
I made that one around 2003 and it was easier to solve than the bandaged cube from Mefferts.
And: DON'T speak about the stickers.
