The Rolling Cubes puzzle is one of those which are considered rare.

Last August, at the IPP, I found a version different from the one I had.
In the version I always had, all cubies are identical and the green color is dark,
while in the newly found six cubes are identical and the other two are their
mirror image, while the green color is light (I was actually planning to trade the
new one, but then found there are a couple of important differences!)

Needless to say, both versions are solvable.
So I was just wondering, are there any more versions out there,
or is there is more information regarding those?

I will take a look and Rolling cubes that I have to see if they are any different from each other.
As for completely different version, I do know of existence of Russian version.
I am still looking for it. If you do happen to find it, please, please find two -- one for me.

I believe this topic should better be in Puzzle Collections.

I must add here that I am currently working (and maybe for a long time)
with a brilliant Russian Professor, who has many academic visitors from Russia.
I would keep asking them for puzzles, so you never know what could be found!

That remins me of my old version of the classic roling cube puzzle.

Per

I have the one with identical cubes and darker green color.
I also have one that has gold lettering on the top lid.
It's the same, it's just the Japanese characters there are painted gold.
