The fudged version of Shallow Diamond
See the entry for the Shallow Diamond for the general concept.
Unlike the "normal" version the inventor removed the visible chirality of the edge pieces.
Here, all the petals are identical and the rhombuses have been fudged into decagons. This works as the acute angle for the rhombus is 70.53 degrees (a familiar number for the experts), which is really close to the 72 degrees found in a decagon. However, in the actual puzzle, these pieces rotate in place really easily, so I might as well have made them to be circles in the design. The stability of the fudged version is almost the same as the unfudged one, despite large gaps between the pieces. Even though the decagons can rotate in place, they do not wiggle around.
