A puzzle with a hybrid axis system, combining a curvy copter with an offset skewb.
This puzzle combines a Curvy Copter with a (curvy) Offset Skewb. Making the cuts on offset skewb with curvy geometry completely eliminate pieces on the surface that would have been present and very thin when implemented with straight cuts.
The puzzle turns like both puzzles, that gave it its name. However using the curvy copter turns will lead to bandaging of the offset skewb turns, presumably making solving (and scrambling) difficult.
There exists a sequence with only curvy copter turns that move the curvy copter pieces around while leaving the offset skewb cuts intact. Interestingly, this sequence actually flips the direction of the offset skewb relative to the core of the puzzle. If the puzzle internally was based on a true offset skewb, then offset skewb turns would not be possible in this position. Therefore the core of the puzzle was designed as a regular skewb so that offset skewb turns are always possible as long as the external pieces are lined up.
Just like the Curvy Copter Skewb, this puzzle can use both the skewb turns and curvy copter turns to jumble, however the offset geometry means that it is more restricted as compared to the Curvy Copter Skewb.
Edge length: 59 mm
