Production of this 3x3x3 with embedded tiles insteals of stickers started in 2013 but back then cuboidal packages were used and sold by several distributors under license of Rubik's Brand Ltd. (aka Seven Towns).
No later 2019 a new type of package was used, again distributed by many companies.
The version by Thinkfun comes with embedded tiles instead of stickers. The package shows a strange mixture of languages: german, english, french and italian are all present.
