The adjective "super" usually means that all visible pieces have a visible orientation and there are no two indistinguishable pieces.
A method to achieve this was invented by Stefan Pochmann for the 5x5x5. In this case it was adapted to the 7x7x7. This is not the first Super 7x7x7 but the first with this style of stickers.
