A hexagonal prism with the jumbling only axis system of a distorted trigonal trapezohedron.
The hexa rex uses a very simplistic jumbling only set of turns where only the top 3 corners and bottom 3 corners can be scrambled. There is one other type of possible move one can perform but it causes all the other corners to be bandaged (other than the corner on the opposite side of the puzzle) until one return it to its home position. This prevents the side pieces from being able to be. It can be considered as a beginner puzzle for someone unfamiliar with jumbling style puzzles. Image 5 shows it with the most scrambled as possible.
The axis system is a distorted face turning Trigonal Trapezohedron somewhat similar to the Squashed cube, see the separate entry.
Edge length: 54 mm
