Snakes in a plane
Above:Starting state
The above is currently the only image for this item.
A moving hole puzzle with a unique mechanism.

This is a sliding piece puzzle, whose mechanism is based on turning spirals so that they can move left-right or up-down.
Its spiral mechanism is unique. To solve the puzzle, the red piece needs to be freed and this requires strategic moves to avoid dead ends. This particular puzzle requires a minimum of around thirty moves.
It was an exchange puzzle during IPP 2008.
It was obviously named after the movie "Snakes on a plane" from 2006.
