Designed to be the Ripple Rhombic Dodecahedron but without curved lines it can't be part of the series.
As the Crystallite (see the separate entry) was a variant of the Ripple Cube (see the separate entry), the inventor decided to try and apply the same transformation to the Ripple Rhombic Dodecahedron (see the separate entry). In other words, if a cube is related to a deltoidal icositetrahedron, what a rhombic dodecahedron will be related to?
The answer is a boolean intersection of a triakis octahedron and a tetrakis hexahedron. Then another intersection with a rhombic dodecahedron to obtain those specific square faces.
The colour scheme is the same as for the Ripple Rhombic Dodecahedron, 12 colours matching a chromatic sphere.
The puzzle is made of 225 pieces and 564 stickers.
