A 8 kilogram heavy handmade (!) replica of the original Astrolabacus.

Tony Fisher made this puzzle in 2019 to reveal it at the Dutch Cube Day in October. The giant Astrolabacus is ~4.5:1 scale, 400 mm max width and is very heavy at 8 kg which prooved difficult during the voyage, lugging on a ferry, trains and buses. Luckily Tony could sell it and had not carry it home again.
It moves exactly like a normal size one though the weird movement makes it difficult to use. Should I stand? sit with it on my lap? Have it on a table etc?
Tony did the construction 99% by hand (no 3D printing or transforming another puzzle) using the patent and a regular Astrolabacus as a guide. The 1% applies to the balls which were cast from moulds created from ball pit balls.
Width: 400 mm
Weight: 8000 grams
