This puzzle can be described as a straightforward shape variant. The creator remade the Fused Cubes, one of the classical Siamese Cubes. Afterwards the creator truncated the puzzle into the shape of a hexagonal dipyramid.
The details make it more complicated as the face pieces had to be truncated to only 1 mm thickness. Thinner and the puzzle would have fallen apart. The stickers were handcut.
