Evil Seed

Two years after the inventor presented the Seed he designed a version with two layers. But since a 2 layer version will be exactly a Rubik's UFO he decided to make it more interesting by cutting windows on the faces so you can see the internal structure of the UFO. This way the puzzle mimics the aesthetics of Multi Cube and Multi Dodecahedron. In 2019 a mass produced version hit the market. See images 9. Links
