A rhombic dodecahedron with two different axis systems and a set of additional cuts that allows 45� face turns.
The second of two curvy dino rhombic dodecahedron. Please refer to the museum for the first one.
Both puzzles utilize and go beyond the hybrid axis system that combines the face and the corner turning cube.
While the other fractured puzzle allowed the 8 triangular corners to rotate at 60 degrees, This one went the other way to allow the 6 square corners to rotate at 45 degrees. This was printed at i.materialize using polyamide sls white material. Instead of painting the pieces the inventor tried a different colour pattern.
