One of the most interesting puzzle mechanisms, in the aspect that the central core is NOT solid. It actually is a 3x3x3 mechanism with a chunk of the mechanism cut out, and then the mechanism was cut in half to rotate about itself. Very interesting mechanism to see in person, if you have a Domino. Its a fun (but scary) thing to do... be careful! Pry under the white center cap, and unscrew. Be gentle with the screw!
The russian version of the Magic Domino also uses this mechanism.
