A simple modification of a 2x2x2 done by extending the pieces to look like a kite.
A very personal project. This puzzle is basically the 2x2x2 version of the previously published "real kite cube". It has been handmodded out of an Eastsheen 2x2x2 (24 mm) using different extension methods. The name "Trendy" is an allusion to a maths problem out of an exam.
The shape allows the mini kite cube to be shape-shifted in various different ways which makes it fun to play with.
Edge length: 25 mm
Edge length: 35 mm (longer kite-edges)
Weight: 19 grams
