1979 Politechnika Cube with printed colors instead of stickers.
A Rubik's Cube with printed colors on it. One side is purple instead of orange.
The factory experimented with printing the colors instead of using stickers, but the orange paint disolved the black cube and turned purple. There were only a few ever made with printed colors.
Politechnika was the first factory in Hungary to produce the Original Rubik's Cube. The company was later renamed to Politoys.
