A electronic 3x3x3, custom made after nine years and four prototypes.
This puzzle was inspired by the electronic game "Lights Out", as well as "Merlin" and of course the original Rubik's Cube.
Each cubie has lights on the faces behind glass tiles. Upon the quarter turn of a face, the cubies on the turned face toggle between on and off.
The puzzle can be moved from full-bright state to full-dark state.
It has 385216 different states if taken into account that there is no global orientation.
Jason Smith conceived the idea in 2007 and built the first version in 2014.
