Asymmetrical Rex 2x2x2

A hybrid puzzle which combines a 2x2x2 with a single deeper cut rotating corner.

This puzzle combines a 2x2x2 with a rex cube. The 2x2x2 portion of the puzzle operates like any standard 2x2x2, however 7 of the 8 rex centers are locked so they do not rotate. This creates a 2x2x2 with only 1 rotating corner. It is also different from a rex cube because the corners of a normal rex cube are hidden and not coloured. In this puzzle, the solver needs to solve the puzzle with additional stickered corner pieces.
Image 5 shows the prototype the inventor presented in 2015. One year later he presented the final version shown in images 1-4.
